Meet our staff

All our staff are experienced and well qualified, having worked with people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities for many years.

Helen Hurdman leads an experienced team of nine staff, supported a trained bank of volunteers. Every member of staff has been involved with teaching young adults with learning difficulties/ disabilities.  Everyone has a first aid certificate.

Meet Harriet

Position: Support Worker / Training Assistant

Harriet has worked at Working World since 2012. She has many years of valuable experience supporting people with learning disabilities. Harriet is described by her colleagues as kind, loyal, thoughtful, busy and positive. Harriet lives with her family in Evesham. She is Mum to 4 boys that keep her very busy. Harriet enjoys family activities, netball, socialising with her friends, walking and cooking and baking.

Responsibilities: Harriet is responsible for Client and staff rotas. She ensures all Clients have equal opportunities to learn varied skills such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, packing sweets, leaflet delivering and Ironing. She is the lead on food hygiene and supports staff to ensure they are up to date with all food hygiene requirements. In addition to this, alongside other staff, her responsibilities include Food planning and preparation, Client safety and welfare, promoting independent living skills and First Aid.
